Evan P. Schneider is the author of the novel A Simple Machine, Like the Lever and the founding editor of Boneshaker: A Bicycling Almanac. By day, Evan is a freelance writer and editor, as well as a writing consultant at Portland State University. He and his wife live and garden in the Montavilla neighborhood and he shops the market each week, so be sure to say hello when you see him!
